Kaploosh Fee Schedule
Effective Date: January 2025
This Fee Schedule forms part of the Kaploosh Terms of Service. By using the Platform, you agree to pay the fees outlined below.
1. Listing Fees
Creating an account and browsing listings is free. Sellers may incur fees for posting business listings, as follows:
- Standard Listing: $0 (free for basic visibility)
- Featured Listing: $99 (one-time fee for 30 days of premium placement)
2. Transaction Fees
Kaploosh charges a service fee on the successful sale of a business facilitated through the Platform. Fees are automatically deducted via escrow at closing.
- Transaction Fee: 5% of the total purchase price (minimum $500, capped at $50,000)
Buyers and sellers agree not to complete transactions outside of the Platform. Attempting to bypass fees violates the Terms of Service.
3. Escrow & Payment Processing
Escrow and payment services are provided by trusted third-party providers (such as Escrow.com or Stripe). These providers may charge separate processing fees, which are the responsibility of the buyer and/or seller as specified in the transaction agreement.
4. Refunds
All fees are non-refundable once a listing or transaction is created, except as required by law. If a transaction does not close, escrowed funds (excluding Kaploosh fees and payment processor charges) will be returned in accordance with escrow provider terms.
5. Fee Changes
Kaploosh reserves the right to update this Fee Schedule at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting to this page, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated fees.
